On October 29, the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University hosted a guest online lecture on “Hyperplastic Processes of the Endometrium in the 20th–21st Centuries.” The lecture was delivered by Alexandra Vyacheslavovna Asaturova, Head of the 1st Department of Pathology at the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology named after V.I. Kulakov (Ministry of Health of Russia), Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Associate Professor at the Department of Pathological and Clinical Pathological Anatomy, Pirogov University. It is worth noting that Alina K. Pirmatova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pathology, Basic and Clinical Pharmacology at the International Medical Faculty of OshSMU, and A.V. Asaturova both completed pathology training as part of the International Seminar in Salzburg, Austria, organized by the Open Medical Institute (OMI), held from November 20 to 26, 2022. It was during this seminar that they first met, which later developed into a productive academic collaboration and joint educational initiatives. Other alumni of this seminar include Assoc. Prof. R.K. Kalmatov, PhD; A.A. Eshieva, PhD; and lecturer T.S. Seitov. The lecture attracted significant interest from both students and faculty members. Alexandra Vyacheslavovna presented modern approaches to the diagnosis and morphological assessment of endometrial hyperplastic processes, emphasizing the importance of integrating morphological and clinical data in gynecological practice.
