ITEC – TISS Faculty Development Programme “Building Bridges in Social Sciences” From May 10 to 16, 2026, an international Faculty Development Programme titled “Building Bridges in Social Sciences” was held in Mumbai, India. The programme was organized by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) with the support of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme under the Ministry of External Affairs of India. Lecturers from the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University—Akbar kyzy Erkaiym, Salieva Dinara, Djeenbaeva Kos-Mira and senior Lecturer Pirmatova Alina —participated in this significant academic event. During the programme, they enhanced their knowledge and acquired innovative methodological approaches aimed at advancing the field of social sciences. Their participation is expected to make a valuable contribution to improving the quality of education and promoting the integration of international best practices into the academic environment.
